Wood gas power is a way under-utilized technology, if you ask me! I would be interested in hearing more about your canal boat project.

I've recently been looking into wood gas power for firing the engine for a canal boat we are planning, part of the system requires the gasses to be cooled for the engine to run efficiently, rather than waste this energy from the heat exchanger we are planning to pre heat the water then complete the heating from a second heat exchange system from the engine cooling system for our hot water and heating. not bad from a sack of logs, propulsion, electricity, heating and hot water
