I don&#039;t use any metal salt nutrients because I don&#039;t want to harm my kitty.  I have heard of people using kelp as a Nitrogen supplement for a head start and it is safe to consume.

		<description>This time lapse is awesome.  Whenever I used soil, my kitty would use it as a litter box before he got to enjoy the grass.  Now I use inert media, either coco mats or Sure To Grow.  The kitty can pull it out, it doesn&#039;t make a mess, and it doesn&#039;t get used as a litter box.</description>
